Assignment Title: Audit of Community-Driven Nutrition Improvement Project (CDNIP) Financial Statements
Introduction
Catholic Relief Services has received funding from the Japanese Social Development Fund (JSDF) administered by the World Bank in the amount of US$ 2.8 million equivalent toward the cost of the Community-Driven Nutrition Improvement Project (CDNIP).
The objective of the project is to: Improve nutrition practices targeted to children under the age of two and pregnant and lactating women in least developed communities in Timor-Lest.
The project is being implemented by Catholic Relief Services
These Terms of Reference refer to the requirement to undertake an annual financial audit covering project activities and expenses from 1st of October 2016 to 30th of September 2017.
Objective
The objective of the audit of the project financial statements is to enable the auditor to express a professional opinion on the project’s financial position as at the end of September 2017 and of the income and expenditure for the accounting period from 1st of October 2016 to 30th of September 2017.The project’s books of account provide the basis for preparation of the financial statements and are established to reflect the financial transactions in respect of the project.
