HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

Background:

The Company, Kaebauk Investimentu no Finansas, S.A. is a new “Other Deposit Taking Institution”, which underwent a rigorous process mandated by the Central Bank and received its license as a non-bank financial institution on 23 August 2016. The Company (KIF) had its origins in Tuba Rai Metin, which operated as a Micro-Finance Institution from 2001 to 2015, and is now the main shareholder of the Company.  Other shareholders of KIF are the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and BOPA-Singapore.

The primary financial services of KIF are the provision of loans and savings products to under-served families and women-headed households of Timor-Leste.  KIF operates in all municipalities through a well-established network of 20 branches and four sub-branches. At present, KIF has over 13,000 clients and assets over USD17 Million.  The staff of TRM were transferred to KIF, which now employs over 250 personnel. KIF values its human resources its prime asset.

Position Background:

KIF is looking for an experienced and ambitious Human Resource Manager to lead the strengthening of its HR policies, systems and procedures, and the professional development of its workforce.  The HR Manager will work under the supervision of the Admin/HR Unit Head and will work closely with the CEO and the Board HR Committee to support the strategic goals of KIF in order to ensure its long term viability into future generations.

Position Details:

„  Commencement: September 2017

„  Duration: 12 months, 3 months’ probation period with the possibility of an extension

„  Remuneration: A competitive salary in line with local market conditions will be offered. This position is regarded as a National Staff position.
